Question What password manager do you all use?

Please provide comments and solutions that are helpful to the author of this topic.
I believe there is no cloud-based third-party password manager that allows TOTP code generation for free (or free, unlimited). KeePassXC (and possibly KeePassDX) are "offline" password managers that have a TOTP code generator.

If you are okay with being locked into the ecosystem, iCloud may actually be a really good password manager for some, unless you want more features.

I am using Bitwarden (free). It's good, and it does what I need, and sometimes more. I use another Android app to generate TOTP codes.

by the way, i will use 1 year free 1password, and then i will turn to bitwarden
1Password is an excellent choice. It's generally considered better than Bitwarden in terms of UI/UX, with extra features that Bitwarden doesn't have. The company also has a solid reputation, even without being open-sourced.

I want to know what password manager do you use, I need a choice, now i'm using icloud now, it can add 2fa code free ( bitwarden need premium )
I would not feel comfortable using PM for both, passwords and 2FA. I use Bitwarden and a double encrypted excel for core passwords.
As for 2FA, I use Microsoft Authenticator (Online) on android and 2fast – Two Factor Authenticator (Offline) on desktop as a backup.

I use KeepassXC but I am evaluating switching to 1password now that you can create an account without master password. It is the major thing that was holding me back from having the convenience of online password manager.

I may get flamed for this (again) but I use a password protected Rar file with text files therein, it works & I'm reliant on no one else for it to work, I use a unique password for every site I use - Just looked there are 84 files in it, its worked for a long time & is more fiddly than alternatives...

Me too; pdf file in 7z file protected by long, complex password obtained by online password generator.

My Golden USB stick with passwords is buried deep in Sherwood Forest & can only be accessed on two days of the year when there is a full moon, (I can't say more) the chances of coming across the USB stick are low, however as it is only findable two days of the year does make updates difficult, but that is security for you, also having moved away from Sherwood area some years ago now involves a 40 mile round trip also but you can't have everything.
