I think "Lupin The 3rd(1971), had a great influence on "Cowboy Bebop".

Takeo Yamashita was in charge of the music for the early'Lupin The 3rd', but Yuji Ohno was in charge of the music in the subsequent series.
Both are good at jazz.

I too like Lupin in his early days. He was a toxic figure.Therefore, the early series was broadcast in the same time frame as the adult drama.
