This is a restoration of the Foos' demo of "Down In The Park," recorded January 24-26, 1996 at Robert Lang Studio.

I compared the recording of "Down In The Park" from this particular source against its official release to determine the changes in speed (pitch & tempo) necessary to make this entire session sound as accurate as possible and undo any cassette degradation over the years.

Additionally, I adjusted EQ and noise reduction to try to match the brightness from officially released sources of this session.

An enormous thank you to the original Redditor who shared a stereo source of this session back in 2018 -- this was the basis of my attempted restoration. Hope you enjoy!

Thin Lizzy from early 1977 on the tv show The Midnight Special. This was when Gary Moore was touring with the band after Brian Robertson injured his hand in a bar fight. It is hard to see but Gary is playing the 1959 Les Paul with the famous reversed pickup that he bought from Peter Green. Despite the drug use in the band there was still a lot of talent and a lot of charisma on the stage that night.

YW. Thin Lizzy has always been one of my most favorite bands. Gary Moore is also one of my favorite guitar players. Live and Dangerous is a great record but I like Still Dangerous better. That one was recorded at the Tower Theater in Philadelphia in October 1977 on their tour for the Bad Reputation album.
