AI based OS will require certain hardware specs I do not have.LOL how stupid. Why not use Windows 2000 (I actually run it on a potato, HACK THAT!) or XP. That logic is stupid. Progress is inevitable.
Likely W12 will require NPU for AI.AI based OS will require certain hardware specs I do not have.
Actually I do not meet the requirements for W 11, but fortunately the IoT LTSC version does not require, which I use.
I only buy used PCs retired by enterprise in Europe; tell me more about NPULikely W12 will require NPU for AI.
Most peeps don't have that yet so it's gonna be a Mass Hardware Upgrade.

I also have it in my Latitude 7450. But either I am not using it or using anything that uses it, or as you said it is just marketing gimmick.I got NPU on my AMD 8645HS and Intel 135H.
To be honest, I never saw it spike in Task Manager.
It's either a marketing gimmick or I don't use AI that much.
Product of 2023AMD 8645HS
What specs do you have there?Product of 2023

With Intel Core Ultra. Yeah those are new with NPU. How I wish we can use the NPU for AV scan like the way GPU can be utilized by some AV.I also have it in my Latitude 7450. But either I am not using it or using anything that uses it, or as you said it is just marketing gimmick.
