Trend Micro is OK but the firewall is terrible no configuration options,in fact i have a license for Trend Micro Maximum security for 180 days i think which is going to waste LOL.

Your wrong and right there. There is no configuration for Trend's firewall, but it has a firewall booster, that meaning you can configure the Windows firewall to the tightest of tight security you want then Trend gives it a boost.

Then in that case you should be able to stop that with Windows firewall

Yes use Windows firewall for config. Windows f/w is strong itself. Plus trend adds IDS and System Protection. I have seen the system protection kick on once when I was trying to run some virus. Dont remember what it was. IT was on pendrive.

Then in that case you should be able to stop that with Windows firewall

yes i could,but i have to do that manually in windows firewall,it does not prompt me when a particular app needs permission.

Until now I've found to be Avast fine on my desktop for about years from now. I believed does do well at any portion of the test.

You are using any extra software for these..??? In mine i open a simple vidio in VLC it takes atleast 10-15 sec. to open it.. so slow down my pc......!!!!!
