R u using any extra software for these..??? In mine i open a simple vidio in VLC it takes atleast 10-15 sec. to open it.. so slow down my pc......!!!!!

Nope, just Trend Micro. For what I use my machine for which is mainly listening to music, browsing MalwareTips, playing games and doing VM testing I do nothing that needs any On-Demand Scanners.

If it's slow it might be the system your running it on, as I have this and seems to run fine.

I use CIS 6 plus the usual on demand scanner such as: MBAM, Hitman pro, EEK and a few others.

i have 2 windows xp installation.....
First and main installation : Kaspersky IS 2013 as Realtime
MBAM as ondemand

Second XP installation : PandaAntivirus Pro 2013 Realtime [license from MalwareTips member]

My main home system is on my signature. (Avast Free + ZoneAlarm Free)
Backup system. (ZoneAlarm Free Antivirus + Firewall)
My laptop Windows 8. (Windows Defender + Windows Firewall)

Well, I tried to vote, but it won't take; nonetheless, I utilize PC Tools Threatfire AV at Level 5.

I like the fact that it is effective enough to block Dr. Web Cureit's post scan statistics gathering fiasco. I thought that was impressive, but what do I know? lol
