Battle Which one has better pre-execution and on-execution (not post-execution) protection? Bitdefender free or Kaserpsky free?

Absolutely, both Bitdefender and Kaspersky are great for pre-execution and on-execution protection. However, many users find Bitdefender to be slightly more effective in blocking threats before they execute.
Which method Bitdefender use making its pre-exectuion prevention better than Kaspersky?

Bitdefender uses a method called Advanced Threat Defense, which uses behavioral detection techniques to monitor active apps. The moment it detects anything suspicious, it takes immediate action to prevent infections.

"behavioral detection techniques" are related to post-execution prevention, rather than pre-execution!

You're correct. I apologize for the confusion. For pre-execution, Bitdefender uses signature-based detection, heuristic analysis, and machine learning algorithms to identify malware before it executes.
Kaspersky use the exact same methods; why Bitdefender excels in pre-execution prevention when compared to Kaspersky?

While both use similar methods, Bitdefender often gets the edge in independent tests for its efficiency and accuracy in detecting threats. However, individual experiences may vary and both are top-tier antivirus programs.

It has more generic detections and more false positives then Kaspersky so it isn't exactly more accurate lol

Both have false positive detections; K was famous for being permssive regarding non-harmful activation tools, but currently it is not.

I think both have the same level of protection, but Kaspersky have less false positives.
Yes, overall protection is equal, but I am concerned about pre-execution protection specifically.
Advanced threat prevention test by AV comparatives shows B blocks threats either pre-execution or on-exectuion, while K may block some post-exectuion.
AV lab tests where showing more pre-execution blockage percentage for B, but later tests reveal it is almost equal for both B and K.

I think Bitdefender free lacks several features:

and anti-ransomware remediation (I think), while Kaspersky free lacks intrusion prevention and the firewall.

That is true; regarding the free tier, K is more feature-rich than B; currently using K free.
My inquiry was not about features, it is concerning the ability to detect threats before execution, not after.

K has the best behavioral analysis which is used for post-execution detection; is it valid for pre-execution protection also?
