My Kaspersky Internet Security for Android subscription is coming to an end in a few days. I wonder what to do? Can you recommend me another paid antivirus for android?

IMO you dont need one, just stay to well known apps (Check the reviews, when the app was created, its permissions, etc), dont allow random apps administrator rights or special accessability access, and keep the operating system and your browsers up to date.
Why do you need antivirus for your phone?

BMS installed on the phone. Standard settings without any locks (parental locks) - I don't need that. It works. It didn't detect anything, but I don't use it much on the Internet either. For me it can be. It does not slow down the phone

I agree it's questionable for many reasons, but since people are people and either we nerds and geeks like it or not, the majority is " Happy Clickers " on Facebook, Twitter, email ( much harder to see a full url on a phones browser as one example ) etc and then add the constant plethora of infected apps on Google Playstore with absolutely stunning numbers of those downloaded and installed, an Antivirus even on a phone for common folks don't need to be such a bad idea. Not any brands or vendor of course as some are just sad adware or bloat versions. Phones built-in AVs I strongly recommend test, because my own personal experience was an eyeopener as even Google Play Protect did better, and that one is really terrible.
Applocks, on a phone is something even I can recommend, but I use Androids built-in feature instead. It works as I'm forced to manually enter a pin code, or facial or fingerprint authenticate.
I went with ESET, mainly because I can locate, lock and/or wipe my phone should I lose it. You might not need the av component, but it's a nice thing to have.
If you use Google account on Android I know some people who don't, you can lock and wipe using the build-in fnd my device.
I was using Kaspersky, Eset and now I'm using Malwarebytes Premium and it works great. Good proactive protection especially great for phishing attacks. It helped me twice i must admit.
I honestly can not. Android already provides the basic protection and then there is Sophos Free along with a safe DNS, I can not think of any other way to get infected, unless you want to?!
I'll choose Bitdefender. I also really like Bitdefender Central app which is very easy to control all your computers. Update/scan/see malicious notifications and etc.
So, either I forgot about this or I never read the comment. But, wow! I never knew about this. I just checked, and it does seem to offer everything I need. Thanks. I might just ditch ESET, and any other mobile AV, now.
