why is dis just happening to me?

i installed comodo firewall on a fresh win8 a few days back restarted the pc and the window wont boot up black screen came and i had to uninstal it and everythng became normal.now i installed online armor and decided to install comodo av and boom same thng hapend again wats up wid comodo?

What version are you using ? because I believe only version 5.12 is Windows 8 compatible but Umbra Corp. might know better than me.There is a new version 6 of CIS http://malwaretips.com/Thread-Comodo-Internet-Security-6-final-release have you tried that? If it is the correct version there could be a conflict with something although a you have a fresh install.Try searching the problem on the Comodo boards http://forums.comodo.com/index.php

I have quickly looked on Comodo forums but only see similar problem as yours with CIS,most answers were to uninstall and use a 3rd party Comodo removal tool and reinstall.

Yeah, I saw they they "fixed" this in the current release, but apparently not?

Anyway today they released Comodo v6, that is Win8 compatible. better use the new version than v5; for Win8.
