I'm not sure wich file manager currently i should use?
I have a lifetime license for XYPlorer but i´m not sure if I should use this or should remain with the Q-Dir or Opus 12?

If you need advanced file management tools there's nothing that compares to Opus. The basic tools such as mass renaming are great. When you discover the scripting tools and start using them you'll never look back.

The file management in Q-Dir is based on MS Windows Explorer but 4x plus Tabs and with more functionality!

In the past 8 years i've been using Directory Opus on all my machines. Its quite expensive but its very stable/reliable and has a lot of features (...i probably wont ever need or know ).

I have XYplorer lifetime, but I find myself using Q-Dir mostly. Simple and fast for reorganizing files. Network friendly.

I voted for Opus. Imho it's the only file explorer that, besides all the great and useful features, can be opened by win+e.

Long time user of Directory Opus on all my home PCs. In fact I like it so much I bought 2 extra licenses for any future PC purchases. I simply can't do without this utility.

EDIT: I've installed a copy of XYplorer. Looks good! But I am not sure if it matches DOpus yet in terms of flexibility and capability. Of course DOpus is more expensive to begin with so it kinda evens out. You get what you pay for. Also, DOpus is licensed per machine (+1 personal laptop) and does not offer a lifetime upgrades license. Expect to pay for upgrades every 2-2.5 years on an average.

Well, DOpus is a power file manager and an Explorer replacement but what about it do you find complicated? It can be as simple or complex as you want it to be. That's the beauty of DOpus.

It's akin to MS Word or Excel. The Office suite has evolved into a bunch of incredibly powerful programs with tons of features and capabilities that many of us use only if or when needed.
