WinCDEmu is an open-source CD/DVD/BD emulator - a tool that allows you to mount optical disc mages by simply clicking on them in Windows Explorer. If you have downloaded an ISO image and want to use it without burning it to a blank disc, WinCDEmu is the easiest way to do it.

  • One-click mounting of ISO, CUE, NRG, MDS/MDF, CCD, IMG images.
  • Supports unlimited amount of virtual drives.
  • Runs on 32-bit and 64-bit Windows versions from XP to Windows 7.
  • Allows creating ISO images through a context menu in Explorer.

i used to use MagicDisc, will try this one

edit: it doesn't install drivers on my system so it can't run, failure to me.

Works for me, I'm using the portable version. Did you try to Run as Admin?

Yes during the installation, it should have a windows asking if i want install a driver that is not signed, it doesn't for me. surely the cause.

You do know Windows 8 has native ISO and VHD mounting.

Yes i Am aware of windows8 native ISO and VHD mounting have tried it and i really like it.

But i downloaded this tool for one of my friend who always has problems with ISO mounting for his games

It's like Virtual CloneDrive. Going to give this ago and see how it goes. So far I think nothing can beat Virtual CloneDrive.
