To clear my comment I made earlier, it was aimed at Windows 10 and Keylogging, and not yourself specifically.

Windows 10 is safe to use, if you want to opt-out from Cortana and Apps with Permissions, turn them off. Telemetry data, error reporting, amongst other "data collection" features are standard in almost all services, especially if Windows-as-a-Service is to exist.

The Windows 10 Upgrade is free for a limited time only, it's a once in a lifetime offer, before you need to spend $$$. It does not mean it's associated with the US Government or NSA, to spy on users.

For those spooked by the GWX app, have you considered that Google provides free Android upgrades, Apple provides free iOS/Mac OS X upgrades, Sony provides free PlayStation firmware upgrades and lastly, Microsoft providing free Xbox One OS upgrades. (Just a thought).

As @exterminator20 has rightly explained, this debate will go back and forth, so decide if you want to use Windows 10, or don't. :)
