Windows 10 Fall Creators Update Reaches RTM

Microsoft has completed development of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, with the official release to take place as planned on October 17.

The company today shipped Windows 10 build 16299.15 to insiders in the Fast ring, and according to reports, this is the RTM build of the Fall Creators Update that everyone will get later this month.

The only difference is that Microsoft will continue to service (to improve) this particular build with more cumulative updates, and this means that insiders will be provided with several patches in the coming days until October 17.

Microsoft has promised to confirm when the RTM build is compiled, so an announcement in this regard is expected anytime soon, especially because the company is also likely to start pushing smaller patches to devices enrolled in the Insider program in the next few days.

No word on the mobile release just yet
For the time being, no stand-alone ISOs are available for insiders, but once the very same build is released to the Slow ring, such media should also be released for those who want to perform a clean install. Additionally, this build should also make it to the Release Preview ring in the coming weeks.

Of course, whoever wants to clean-install build 16299.15 can build their own ISO, though this requires additional steps. Learn here how to build your own Windows 10 ISO.

Now that Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is close to getting the final go-ahead, insiders in the Fast ring should soon be migrated to the new development cycle for the Redstone 4 update. The Skip Ahead channel, which currently gets early Redstone 4 builds, should be phased out, with the Fast ring to be promoted and receive these preview images of the next OS update.

There’s still no word on what exactly is going to happen with the mobile release, but the feature2 update will certainly become available at one point, though Microsoft is yet to confirm if it plans to synchronize the launch with the PC sibling or not.

Looking forward to its release. This time I will definitely wait for a month before installing this update.
May Gods give me the strength & patience to resist the temptation:p
