Troubleshoot Windows menu won't open (Windows 10)

My windows menu key won't open the menu. This started happening today when I opened my laptop and I don't know what caused it or how to fix it. Any help will be appreciated.

Sometimes it is more on isolated situation.

First conduct a refresh PC, because it can affect those 3rd party programs upon the behavior of Windows

Or try to conduct a system restore/system image to restore the point where the behavior is in normal act.

I have seen this happen randomly. Usually rebooting the system 2X fixes it for me. I have no clue as to its cause, but it is highly intermittent.

the problem may seem simple to resolve, try to enter in tablet mode or the full menu display, that will solve the problem, at least for me worked

This bug looks pretty common, I also encountered it on my friends notebook. There are multiple ways to try and fix it but none is 100% certain to work, probably depend on why it even appeared.

Toggling full screen and rebooting didn't work. I tried a rollback to 3 days ago and the menu is fixed now. Thanks for the help everyone!

Press win+r than typ this: shutdown -g -t 0

Should fix it.
