I apoligize for being repetitive, as I'm not sure if the info above is listed in the post. Here is my situation: -I encountered the "Windows Security Center Service Can't be Started" error. -Based on another thread on this site, I proceeded with the ComboFix scan and report. (Note: I understand I SHOULD NOT have done this, as every case is special. Shuold have run other reports first, and waited for instruciton to do this...) -After running ComboFix, eveything appears to be fine. Note: -Side issue is that I needed to install a new anti virus -I installed AVG AntiVirus Free 2014 -It sends me the message "I am not fully protected!". It tells me my database is outdated. When I try to update it, I get a "General Error" Here is the feedback I am looking for from the forum: -Priority#1: Although my computer appears fine now, I justed wanted to be proactive and ask the team to review the reports I ran, to see if they still see any risk. -Note: ComboFix was run first. Ran OTL and MBR after the fact -Priority #2: Antivirus Support -Can you help me to resolve my issues with AVG? Or recommend a different Free anti-virus in its place? Greatly appreciate the forums help in reviewing these issues. Please advise if you need any additional info from me before proceeding. Thanks!!
