My last major Windows Update (16 important plus one optional) went flawlessly. Which were the ones yours failed to install?

I have already installed Update - there was new update available so i tried to update that this error appears.

Reboot your system and then check again. If Windows is already in the process of installing updates in the background you will receive that error. Sometimes this error will be resolved by rebooting the system 2 or more times.

Tried but problem still there.

Most Windows Update failures are caused by third-party security products, what security products are you using?
You may need to disable them or temporary uninstall them then try running Windows updates again.

I only use Windows 8 default security and I have never had a failed update.
