I've always thought highly of WC365, but now I'm finding that it is not removing all my Chrome cookies (same issue w/Disk Cleaner). I have only a few domains under exclusions, but opening Chrome after cleaning showed hundreds of remaining cookies... many to tracking or ad sites. Maybe I've done something wrong here, but this is vexing.

Nobody needs Obsolete software that canNot be Updated.
it's not obsolete. and it can be updated, it will update to the free version. in the mean time, you can use the full version to see if you like it enough to buy it. only software companies that are confident in their product use this type of marketing. and it gives me a full version usually for a year for free.

The purpose of a business is to make money. Without money or cash flow a business will cease to exist. Basic economics.
In this case we are presented with a fully functioning product that the developer hopes will entice some people to purchase future versions, which will provide cash flow for the continuation of the business.
There is no such thing as a free lunch in life.

I don't begrudge anyone or any business making a buck, not asking for free software either, just be honest in your endeavors that's all, don't use a play on words to try and fool people into purchasing your software, it's unethical.
I support a lot of honest software companies who's lifetime licenses are just that, LIFETIME which means they come with all future updates or upgrades included because that is what a lifetime license is.
If your software cannot be updated or upgraded past the version being offered then you need to reword your license model because it is not a lifetime license.
Although some companies try and make this wording clearer, most don't and lead people to believing they are getting something they are not, it's kind of like a bait and switch which is a felony in the U.S. but happens an awful lot on the internet without repercussion.

Thanks.

I have quite a few computers in my household... including an old Windows Vista computer.

I keep thinking that I'll just chuck the Vista computer... as it's really old and under-powered... and it gets harder to maintain.

But then every time I use it.... for some strange reason, I like it. Nostalgia maybe.

So I saw that this Wise 365 Pro works on Vista... so I gave it a shot.

I pretty much ran everything.... all the different modules of Wise 365.

And whatdaya know... it worked. My old Vista machine is noticeably snappier.

Now it will be even harder to think about getting rid of it.

I do not want to be a prophet, but it will be harder and harder to keep him in good shape.
this system is no longer supported by Maicrosoft and is not successful.
but this is only my opinion if he suits you, you can stay with him.:sneaky:

Hey, Burrito, my 'pc' is a old, dinky-ass HP notebook that runs win 10 pro pretty great! I hesitated to even try it, but glad I did. I've had the best luck with slimming down any version I install & of course I can't run a bunch of big programs at the same time. W10 pro has been much more stable & faster than 7. Never tried 8. My biggest issue is the eternal MS privacy/spyware crap ... Blackbird, ProtonVPN & HMP.A along w/ removing MS apps, leaves me with a pretty snappy & reasonably secure machine.

That's ambitious... putting Windows 10 Pro on an old computer. I've thought about that... but that computer is too old. But that's great that it's working for you. And yeah, I sorta liked Windows 7 until... until 10 came out. It's mucho better.
