To get the World of Warcraft Starter Edition:
1.Visit World of Warcraft Account Creation.
2.Receive an invitation from a friend through the Recruit a Friend program.
3.Use a trial key included in other Blizzard games.
To download the World of Warcraft Starter Edition:
Navigate to your Game Downloads page in Battle.net Account Management and click the icon for your operating system under World of Warcraft.
How long will a World of Warcraft Starter Edition stay on my Battle.net account?
Your Starter Edition will remain active on your Battle.net account indefinitely, even if you decide to stop playing the Starter Edition.
How do I upgrade from Starter Edition to the full version of World of Warcraft?
You can upgrade to the full version of the game at any time using a digital copy or a boxed copy. You will be asked to set up a subscription but will not be charged until after the 30 days of free access.

Upgrade to the full version of World of Warcraft online through Battle.net Account Management.You can purchase the Warlords of Draenor expansion separately.
To upgrade:
1.Log in to Battle.net Account Management.
2.Select the World of Warcraft Starter Edition license you would like to upgrade.
