What is the name of the last worm that you all were infected with?

impossible to say, with my paranoid mindset i was never infected by a worm ^^

Very interersting read!
Worns aren't as wide used as Trojans....As far as I know 75% of all the malware into the wild are Trojans while Worms under 10%...
I never "managed" to get infected in real with a Worm.But Conficker and Kido are two nasty worms.

A couple of years ago I was getting a lot of MyDoom worms from email. AV was catching them though.

You are right, worms are rare. Nonetheless, it is very fascinating how they operate alone once released. Viruses need a host program, Rootkits need a backdoor user, and Trojans need someone to open the package.
