@xxtoss23 I don't think you should change AVs that often. In the batch of time between old AV removal and new AV installation, a new virus may pop up on your computer, especially when you download a new AV. If you want to do frequent AV changes like I do, I would install Emsisoft Anti-Malware and keep the file guard/behavior blocker OFF and turn them on before you uninstall your old AV. It works great as an on-demand scanner. Note that you have to pay $39.95 for the behavior blocker, but only activate the trial when you need the 2 features. An alternative is Baidu. Please only use Baidu or Emsisoft for this purpose as others will fight to get on and disable your main protection (looking at you Bitdefender:D).
