Yandex has confirmed a major service outage after drone attacks damaged three data centers in Russia, leaving some users unable to access cloud files.

Two facilities stopped operating, while a third lost part of its infrastructure.

The disruption affected Yandex Disk users and businesses running services on Yandex Cloud across the platform.

"They probably were hosted on the same servers as those Yandex ones that got bombed."

So it is just speculations.

We understand that these issues are disrupting your normal use of the service.

As compensation, we will automatically extend your Kaspersky VPN subscriptions by a period equal to the duration of the service outage. No action is required on your part.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

It is just the coincidence of complaining about Kaspersky server connectivity issues which have started just after the damage to Yandex cloud servers.
