That is one hell of a good list you got there mate. :D

I buy the best movies, my list is here: IMDb: MyMovies: My Movies - a list by tairikuokami - If I had to pick the best one:

The most cheerful one would be "Rise of the Guardians", it is about keeping the imagination alive, thus keeping alive a scientific progress as well.

But "Little Prince (1974)" keeps closing, it is also about imagination and friendship. 2015 remake is not bad either.

As for a little dark one, it would be "Colorful (2010)", about committing a suicide and consequences and about valuing yourself regardless of imperfections.

But there is also "They Live (1988)", which seems almost realistic these days.

Tron (1982)
Eagle Eye (2006)-CIA central computer is in this one at the end or a concept of it anyway
The Matrix

There are too many to name. Clint Eastwood Jose Wales/westerns/Dirty Harry, Star Wars original trilogy, WW2 movies like Battle of the Bulge and Midway. Tron is a masterpiece for me. Wish movies focused more on the truly technical end of computers...the big ones I mean. Can't get enough :)

But there is also "They Live (1988)", which seems almost realistic these days.

Rowdy Roddy Piper oh yeah :)

The Godfather (trilogy)
The Matrix
Platoon
Fury
The Equalizer
The Mechanic
Killer Elite
Interstellar
Jason Bourne
John Wick 2
The Great Wall

Aliens without a doubt... Seen that countless times and never tire of it! Nuke 'em from orbit! We should do that with those malware nasties:p:p:p
