I noticed you use Comodo System Cleaner, how do find it compared to CCleaner?

For me CCleaner is the safe option, and CSC not so much.

I can say both are very good, but I found CCleaner to be less aggressive than CSC.

RE: ZeroDay's Config.

Well nothing wrong using Comodo in fact its a very good configuration there since the combination is really applicable.

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

I can't decide wether or not to go back to my old config of Avira free and Comodo fw with D+

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

I tried Avira Free 2012 for a few days, it was very light on my system, little performance drop from waking my laptop from sleep. However, the reason I don't use Avira is 1. Ads and 2. How it works, and a few other things.

Will you be keeping Panda Security URL Filtering?

How would you compare (not in terms of detection) Comodo Antivirus to Avira Free?

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

Yes I would more than likely keep Panda url filtering.

To be honest last time I used Avira free 2012 alongside Comodo firewall I checked the cloud analysis during the comodo install and comodo cloud seemed to beat Avira to the detection on a few tests I ran. I think Comodo av gets a bad rap, from my limited testing it seems strong.

Sorry only just saw the 'not in terms on detection' lol. I think both comodo and Avira are very light indeed, I really have a lot of time for Avira but one thing that really gets on my nerves is the short system scan after a detection and it really is about time Avira give the UI and good overhaul now.

Added: mamutu

Why Mamutu and not Emsisoft AM? you won a license?

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

Yes I've actually won a license for both but I think mamutu is enough along side CIS.

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

follow my guide, better put EAM than Mamutu, since EAM has mamutu inside + a very good detection dual-engine ^^

This combo (what im using right now) is very light on resources :

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

Ok thanks I'll test it out :)

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

ok, keep us informed about result on your system

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

Decided to just stick with CIS and mamutu, I think CIS + The full Eam is a little bit over kill.

surely, but very efficient ^^

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

I might just try it out for a week, it does seem like a rather solid setup

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

Hey how did mamutu and cis do together?

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

as good as CIS + EAM, since Mamutu dont have any AV engine.

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

Mamutu and CIS are running great together :)

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

Do you have them excluded from each other? I may add mamutu since I have two free licenses

RE: ZeroDay's Config. (Updated 14/06/1012)

No I don't have them excluded from each other and there's no conflicts, I decided to add mamutu as a behavior blocker seems all that's missing from cis and mamutu complements cis very well indeed.
