ZoneAlarm already provide Zero-day and Ransomware protection, but this tool will be free and run alongside existing AV?

Besides detecting and blocking (traditional features), they've advertised the feature of "Auto-restore" that "Repairs any encrypted files instantly".

I think it's not free!cuz they are using checkpoint technology and they don't offer anything for free

Probably. But there are some companies that offer free anti-ransom tool as their only free product. This one can be either. Looking at their seriousness, it feels that the product will be priced, only a guess though.

There's a waiting list for the Beta testing for the tool. I will try and test the tool when special RW samples are posted.

Starting from the execution, new ransomware variants need a few seconds to start the encryption process.
So security solutions and specific antiransomware have to detect some indicators as new unique processes, calls to specific Windows libraries, execution in unusual directories like TEMP/Recycling Bin, deletion of Volume Shadow Copies etc.

What I want to say is that a antiransomware must have a quick-time intervention to block, especially, the fast malware encryption process.
Otherwise we will see the ransomware detected, but our files encrypted anyway.

All it says it's a 60-day Beta license, nothing post-beta.

Same here. Signup button won't work in Android or Desktop client.

I also tried on the day of posting, with android and desktop browsers with adblock disabled. Still no luck. Probably the first link has got issues.
