Troubleshoot 64 bit not recognized in Virtual box

I want to install kali linux onto virtual box
i downloaded kali 64bit
but i am not able to select linux 64 bit wile creating new machine
please tell me how to fix this

VirtualBox (as I see from your screenshot) only support 32 bit systems as far as I know, you need to redownload 32 bit package from kali.

VBox does support x64, in your case that is your cpu that may not support an x64 guest , check if it is capable

If not do as Chroma said

Actually i am currently using windows 8.1 - 64 bit which mean my cpu supports 64 bit OS

all x64 cpu doesn't support x64 virtualized guests. check in your BIOS if you have some virtualization options
