After many tries with most managers I've gone back to using text files archived with WinRar using a decent password, using mainly C+P I appreciate its not for everyone & has limitations but it is free & totally in my control, it works for me.

I understand you very well, it took me a whole year to trust a password manager and move completely to rely on it and leave my old habits.
