Upgrade to windows 10 maybe? is more secure than 8.1 for pop up blocker use Popup Blocker (strict) and for adblock use ublock

Your PC is at risk for testing malware samples on your Host PC.
You should only test malware samples in a Virtualized Enviroment (VMware,Virtual Box,etc.) or a separate testing PC.
Consider some type of data and system backup solution.
Aside from testing malware samples on your host PC you config is good.

Testing malware on your host PC is always a bad idea.
Add ZAM Free, you can replace Adblock with uBlock Origin.
Add a good backup solution, such as Macrium Reflect Free or AOMEI Backupper.
For malware testing you can use a VM, with VirtualBox or VMWare or Shadow Defender.
