Hii..
I want to go back to basic disk... like reboot restore and rollback they don't support dynamic disk.
I used "Ping" windowsdream for backup and restore..it's a fine tool but it also can't read all Partitons on this 1 harddrive. So no full protection or backup is possible.
I have 4 partions + the 100 MB of windows all on 1 disk no raid.
I really want to get rid of the 100 MB system storage! Than I can convert everything back to basic disk (I hope so:biggrin:)

IFits true what people chat :Than there is no bootfile on this so called "Windows system storage" on Win 7 x64, Only it's used for Bitlocker, which I'm not planning to use..

Does anybody has ever deleted it successful. Please ishare with me
I use Minitool Partiton Wizard... I have a backup image of the small partion and I burned the Hiren emergency toolkit already onto a DvD.
That's why I'm not really afraid of destroying anything..
Let's see what we can do.. I have wasted to much time already..it only can get better

I wouldn't advise deleting the System Reserve.

Thx Earth I'm getting a fan of yours :preved:

Well it's possible
I think I do this steps (starting a new set up)

During Setup, if you create a new partition on a clean HDD
At the first setup screen (Language, Keyboard, etc.) press SHIFT+F10. This will open a command prompt window. Enter the following diskpart commands to create a partition.

- Diskpart
- List disk
(this command is important. It will show you what disk drives you have. Most likely your hard drive will be will be Disk 0, but you need to check it first.)

- select disk 0
- clean
- create partition primary size=60000
(this creates a partition 60GB in size. If you want to use the whole hard drive, just leave off the size=number)

- select partition 1
- active
- format fs=ntfs quick

Type Exit to leave Diskpart. Type Exit to close the command prompt. Now continue with the install. When you get to the partition screen, highlight the partition you just created and click Next. Windows will install to the partition you created and not create the 100MB boot partition. Instead, you will see a C:\Boot folder when the install is finished (like Vista has).

**Since BitLocker is only available on Ultimate Edition - which is the only edition being used for the beta/RC -- this issue is only going to affect those using Ultimate Edition. For those using Home or Business editions, Bitlocker isn't a feature, and this installation scenario won't even happen.

After I've done it I'll come back to report****
