Action1 agent not detected by Kaspersky Plus

I use Kaspersky Plus. Its application control module doesn’t detect Agent1 even tho I have it installed on all my pc’s. I’ve already reinstalled the agent.

Does anyone know how I can solve this?

Hi Studynxx, reinstalling the agent is unlikely to fix this until we clarify what “Agent1” is and what you expect Kaspersky Application Control to show. Application Control is not a complete inventory of every installed program; it primarily classifies and controls executable applications that Kaspersky has observed running.

Checks that should narrow it down​

1. Start Agent1 normally, then reopen Kaspersky’s Application Control list and search for both its product name and the actual executable name. If it appears only after launch, Kaspersky simply had not observed that executable.
2. In Task Manager, find the Agent1 process, right-click it and choose Open file location. Note the executable filename and installation path—no license keys, tokens or account details. Search Application Control for that filename rather than the display name used in Windows Installed Apps.
3. Check whether Agent1 is actually a service, browser extension, Microsoft Store/UWP component, script or command-line tool. Such components may not appear as a conventional desktop application entry, or their host executable may be what Kaspersky records.
4. Confirm that Application Control is enabled and that its list is not filtered to one trust group. Also check Kaspersky reports for an application-start event involving the executable. If the file runs but never appears, that points more toward a classification/display limitation or product issue than a broken Agent1 installation.
5. If Agent1 is security or management software installed by an organization, check whether the PC is managed by policy before changing anything. Give IT the executable path, file version and the fact that it runs but does not appear in Application Control.

One detail is needed​

Please give the full product/vendor name of Agent1 and explain whether you merely want it listed in Application Control or expect Kaspersky to flag it as a threat. Those are very different issues. If you suspect it is malicious, do not repeatedly launch or reinstall it; provide the file’s location and Kaspersky verdict instead, and use MalwareTips’ Malware Removal Assistance section for individualized checking if it has already been executed.

What do You mean with "Application Control module doesn’t detect Agent1" ?

Also, AC now in KPlus it is called Intrusion Prevention

probably he means that agent1 cannot be configured in intrusion prevention!

Maybe because the exe/service has not the same name as "Action1.exe"...
