Recently, some users from the Spanish-speaking section of the Kaspersky Online Community asked me to create a new guide with tweaks for the current version of Kaspersky.
More than 10 years ago, I used to create and publish guides, but at some point I stopped doing so because the settings for the main protection modules remained the same; in fact, they haven’t changed even 10 years after I published my previous guide (2016).
So last week I got down to work and started writing a new guide—nothing too fancy—aimed primarily at standard users, but also at those who want to take things a step further.
The guide covers the main tweaks I usually implement on my main system; it doesn’t include all of them, but it does include the most important ones.
Needless to say, this is a Default Deny setup, which may cause some issues for users who like to install many new, little-known, or unsigned applications. To address these potential issues, I’ve included some tips and tricks.
I originally wrote the guide in Spanish, but a few days ago a user contacted me via private message and asked me to create an English version as well, so here it is.
