We've had issues on our laptop and desktop computers and I ran all the malware stuff following your instructions.
Cleaned up the laptop beautifully and everything's working fine. I decided to go ahead and run it all on the desktop because it's been real sluggish. First ran the Malwarebytes, which caught a few and got rid of them. Ran Hitman which caught several more and got rid of them. Ran the last one suggested to really clean it up, which actually caught a few more and cleaned it up. Did the reboot and got the blue screen Automatic Repair. I have done all of the Advanced Options and nothing has fixed it. I went to the command prompt and in the directory AdwCleaner is at the very top, which is the last cleaner I ran.
I saved the logs on them but can't get to them.
I can't get the computer to open in safe mode or any other options I've tried. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool x64 and save it to a flash drive.
  • Now you should get a window like this where you need to click Troubleshoot.
Windows-10-2.jpg

  • In the next window, click Advanced options and select Command Prompt.
  • Now you should log in into your account and after that Command Promptwindow.

Access the notepad and identify your USB drive

In the Command Prompt please type in:
Code:
notepad
and press Enter.
  • When the notepad opens, go to File menu.
  • Select Open.
  • Go to Computer and search there for your USB drive letter.
  • Note down the letter and close the notepad.

Scan with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

Once back in the command prompt window, please do the following:
  • Type in e:\frst64.exe and press Enter.
You need to replace e with the letter of your USB drive taken from notepad!
  • FRST will start to run. Give him a minute or so to load itself.
  • Click Yes to Disclaimer.
  • In the main console, please click Scan and wait.
  • When finished it will produce a logfile named FRST.txt in the root of your pendrive and display it. Close that logfile.

Transfer it to your clean machine and include it in your next reply.

I wanted to bring this post up to date. I ended up taking my computer to the repair place. The crash had nothing at all to do with AdwCleaner. The harddrive had corrupted (sorry don't remember the entire description) and that last reboot was it's end. Fortunately for me he was able to do a complete recovery and I didn't lose any of my data. After installing a new hard drive I'm up and running again.
Thank you for all your help here.
