thanks

trying Macrium Reflect and AX64 Time Machine among others for some time now

most of the ones tested seem solid and each one has its advantages

it is hard to decide which one to go for

HTTPS Everywhere:

unfortunately it isn't on AMO (addons.mozilla.org) so it is a no go for me
fortunately they planning to put it there soon

LastPass:

using the build in manager with a master password but might give lastpass or keepass a try

I've just got a couple of questions regarding your config; why do you have no login password, your operating system updates are turned off, no On-Demand scanners?
Now some might say that On-Demand scanners are always not needed, that is true BUT it is a must to have them. I have them in my config and do a scan with all three of the most popular ones once a week, even if I know I don't have anything of concern on my computer.

Some On-Demand scanners I recommend (plus a video on each on how they perform);
  1. Zemana AntiMalware - Video is a but old but still a good watch - Zemana AntiMalware Review
  2. Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Video is a but old but still a good watch - Malwarebytes Review
  3. Hitman Pro - Hitman Pro Review
Other than that I'd assume you have settings set on ESET to maximum?

Windows Update disabled = system open to exploits
No Login passwords = system open to unwanted access
No Smartscreen = suspicious softwares may run.

He has windows updates disabled but eset default settings does check for windows updates at least last I checked. Do you do manual checks to update windows? Is your account local or online account? Did you set autologin with password if you use online account?
