Alternative for Foxit Reader

I use Foxit Reader for TTS* only as SumatraPDF doesn't have it. But lately Foxit has become intolerable so i am looking for a replacement PDF software with TTS* support.
NOTE: Please don't suggest Adobe & Browsers (Edge).

Edge will come to Widnows 7 probably in future. But for pdf, you would have to wait for more input from MT members.

Microsoft Edge comes built-in with W10, has PDF Support and TTS Support, people no longer install third-party PDF readers.

Since you on W7, you'll have to rely on Foxit Reader (either that or use your browser as PDF reader, and there's lots of extensions for TTS).

Let's see what happens in the future. In 2020, extended support for windows 7 sp1 will expire too. i doubt Microsoft will think of bringing new software to a dead windows.

for me, using any browser for pdf reading is not an option except in emergency case when the brand new PC has no software installed
it's slow as hell especially with hundreds of MB textbook with complex elements
only good dedicated pdf readers can open those files without lags or freezes

also, no commenting, no highlighting or screenshot taking
but slow speed is the main reason

Thanks, i have saved the guide.
Nonetheless If i wanted to use browser for pdf reading, i could install addons in Firefox & use TTS.

Exactly, i am looking for a dedicated software for pdf.
I could do this the hard way & install every pdf reader there is to check & see if it meets my requirements instead of choosing the easy way and asking for dedicated software, which MT users are currently using, to choose from.

PDF xchange is certainly one of the best pdf editors you can find for free

sumatra is the fastest and smoothest pdf reader

foxit is the easy to use and convenient, rich in features, not as pdf xchange

I already use sumatra, please real full post. i need TTS support pdf reader alternative for foxit.
I am liking coolpdf, its like sumatra but with a lot more features.
