@Shadowra so is Microsoft too slow to add these, or are they just missing them altogether?

I believe it's this one How I got infected last time threadIt seems to me that @SeriousHoax had explained in a post but I don't know where. It seems to me that they are having problems with artificially pumped malware
Why do you say that?
I’m assuming because the lack of version updates and there hasn’t been much talk in the discussion forums by the representative.
I do wonder if they still plan to release the paid version
I was wondering as well.@Shadowra Great test as always. I may be slightly off-topic here but I wonder how Malwarebytes would have performed in this test. They claim to have multiple layers of protection integrated in the paid version.

Its quite scary to think there are millions of people who rely soley on Malwarebytes, not knowing it provides sub-par protection due to not having an behavior blocker and targeting scripts.Malware not blocked but C&C server blocked.
@Shadowra Can you check F-Secure?Assuming @Anthony Qian is right, which is usually true, then F-Secure will work for this. I would assume they’d also be covered by the Avira signatures, but just a guess.
And things may get worse for Defender as recent malware have specifically been targeting it.Everyone succeeded except Microsoft Defender
and last but not least, emsisoft please?
@harlan4096 were faster than me (while I have a 2Gbps connection haha )how kaspersky looks that good? my KSC free looks old compared to this. where did you get it?
Great video tho
We may be entering a new era of everybody running 3rd party AVs again. Or Microsoft will make serious improvements. And things may get worse for Defender as recent malware have specifically been targeting it.
How am I gonna tell you...Btw, what about Norton? Could it protect against this specific sample?
