For good reason because once the A.I. models mature it will be a blood bath in the coding/development industry.
I don't know about the rest of the world but in New Zealand where I am from I am very strongly noticing the economic impact of AI with jobs losses especially in entry level jobs.

what type jobs? short reply is fine...
SOC analysts are dead, coding/development is dying and will be dead in 10 years except for a few, customer service agents and other kinds in the service economy is dead.

Tech support is dead except for pig butchering and scam compounds. Anything entry level dealing with I.T in any industry is also dead like Andrew999 said.

What worries me more is self driving vans and trucks. Once they become the norm it's going to make the A.I. apocalypse look tame. Millions of jobs will be lost.

Yep, finding a job is very hard at the moment. Not many jobs and the competition is insane. I know that because I am experiencing it at the moment.

💯

The only industry where you will get a job guaranteed is in health or low paid low-skilled highly stressful jobs in the help economy like aged care, social work and child care.

I understand the concern about the impact of AI on employment, but I think it is important to clarify something: caring for children or the elderly is not an ‘unskilled’ or dishonorable job. On the contrary, it requires sensitivity, patience, and a human capacity that no machine can replace.

The life that begins —children— and the life that approaches its end —the elderly— should not be seen as if they were expendable, but as stages that need more care, more attention, and more love. Those who accompany these fragilities elevate the human spirit, because they uphold what is most essential: the dignity of people.

If AI transforms many sectors, perhaps it is also an opportunity for society to learn to value these jobs more, which are not only necessary but profoundly human ❤️

Guaranteed income will be the worst policy any government can introduce in the future. It will do nothing but cause major issues in society!

You do not want people unemployed for life bored to death sitting at home playing video games or browsing social media and doing drugs all day.

That depends on your upbringing. You could for instance attend university and get another degree following your interests. Or start a business. Or become a novelist or an artist. Plenty of things to do.

You expect too much from people, giving people free money is a terrible idea for the individual and society.

Very few will go to university or run a business on government benefits as they do already right now. Most will stay home and play video games or browse social media.

You need meaningful employment and full time work in order to have a stable and prosperous society. There is nothing to be gained by giving people a universal basic income.
