Try to enable the option "Auto-load previous session files on start" on the Settings -> Preferences -> General tab:

Each group has a different color (auto-assigned), and you can easily jump to a group.

Useful if you work with many tabs in a session and you want to visually associate a tab to a specific group.

The groups are session-based, if you need persistence you can enable "Auto-load previous session files on start" on Settings -> General tab.
