It only worked for me when I used the installer linked in the above post, not one from the Ashampoo website.

Having said that, I ran some of the registry cleans and they bricked my system, so I uninstalled it and will stick with Revo Pro.
I confirm the license is working with the installer posted here.

Regarding Ashampoo registry cleaner, it
Smarty does a terrible job of finding leftovers.
Yes I know it lacks behind other competitors. Revo is my go-to then comes IObit and finally Ashampoo.
 
After trying this program(it was good) I decided to go elsewhere,there customer service to me was poor(had same problem) and advertisements from Ashampoo,desktop icon,too pushy for my liking. Bought it had computer restore and then the poor service,
