Advice Request authorized user access to folder for Windows based application

Hello all,
I have a windows based application.
This has to be installed on client machine to be used.
I am giving application installed location folder permission to all authorized user for read/write
Everyone and users does not have write access to the same folder
Do you think this could be any cyber security problem ?
Please help me here

There are more applications installing in AppData and allowing full access to authorized users. These apps install in user land to prevent needing admin rights.

So when your program does NOT process vulnarable user data or critical corporate data, it is not best practise, but you are not the only one giving authorized users write access to their installation folder.
