I really like the VPN’s interface, but I’m not a fan of it requiring you to log in to YouTube. No matter how many times I’ve requested a change, it feels like talking to a wall sometimes I think a wall would give me more attention. That said, the VPN speed is impressively fast. I use the Ultimate version but do not use the browser...

Avast / AVG free have both performed well for me in the past although number of pop-up ads/notifications have certainly increased in recent years. I still use Avast free on my old Win10 desktop but have since jumped to Linux. Linux isn't targeted as much as Windows and user authorisation is required for pretty much everything which changes system files on Linux so risk-profile / need for an AV different for Linux.

@nickstar1 The only VPN I've found that you can use YouTube without any issues is Express, with Mullvad I do have to use a Captcha, I never log into to YouTube though.

The other one might be IVPN, at least for me. I haven't had any problems with and in accessing and using YouTube (no ketchup's) 😅

Really? I use Mullvad 24/7 WireGuard Windows client and I get zero ads on YouTube anytime any day even on EDGE. Must be your exit server, what country do you use?

I also use uBlock Origin, no issues on desktop. Mobile I always get ads/tracking even with NextDNS, different beast.

I don't get ads with Mullvad, always use UK, as can't use some local BBC content if I use another country, I just have to do a captcha on first YouTube usually, maybe then after a while?? That's all, I don't log in with YouTube, & never have.

I do experience captchas a lot when I am connected to Adguard. I believe it is related to assigned IP being known.
They are all known, every single VPN IP is in a blacklist/fraud list. It just depends on the site, big sites YouTube & Amazon no problems they have other ways to check legit traffic.

eBay is far the worst site, as soon as you order from a VPN your account is shadowbanned and you can't order again with the same credit card/same address. Always blocked.

Thanks for telling me about eBay. I recently purchased The Study Quran and after a successful payment, the order got cancelled and they blocked my account. That explains it.
