This version includes the first overhaul of the existing Avira System Speedup interface, this is still work in progress.

Improved Service Manager

The Service Manager module now shows the correct amount of services

Improved Uninstaller

The uninstaller module now shows also 64-bit applications

Avira System Speedup 2.0 beta
We did a redesign of the product based on a lot of feedback from our customers. These design improvements will result in a simpler experience for you to perform a scan and clean your device, to assess your computer and improve the Disk, Performance and Privacy scores. Also, improving the startup time of your computer is now simpler than ever, with our Boot-Time Optimizer.

• Redesigned the user interface of the product.
• 1-Click Boot-Time Optimizer
• Added on the first screen (Dashboard) the performance scores that assess your computer from the performance, privacy and hard disk perspective.
• Improved all the cleaners: registry cleaner, junk cleaner, privacy cleaner.

Known bugs and limitations:

• Each tool under Tools is under the UI of the current product (1.6)
• Disk fragmentation is currently not included in the calculation of the scores
• Currently there is no in-product help available, it will come in one of the next beta releases
• The users that have XP or Vista will not receive automatic update notes, they will need to update manually

Temporarily disabled features:

• The scheduler
• The startup guard
• The boot-time popup information (after the computer boots up)
• The right-click menu items
• The licensing popup (Licence is about to expire)
• Hardware configuration information and hard disk temperature

It is trial-ware. You can buy it stand-alone or as part of their Internet or Total Security suites.

It simply isn't worth it when freeware CCleaner, WiseCare, Glary Utilities, etc does virtually the same thing. Often you can get 1-year Give-A-Way licenses for WiseCare, IOBit, etc.

Just my observation...
