AirVPN decided to ban me. I'm not really sure why, but maybe they don't like vocal people. I've asked questions, such as the lack of "internal socks5" servers (which mullvad, ivpn, and hide.me all have) or when they're going to have a sale. For that I was banned. Not suspended, but banned. I cannot access any AirVPN page, login to my paid account, or contact support.

If you are thinking of going with them, don't. They are not trustworthy.

Sorry to hear about your experience. It's important to communicate with the VPN provider to understand the reason for your ban. If you're unable to reach them, consider using another VPN service that aligns with your needs and preferences.

The thing is n8chavez they one of the few legit VPNs that are legit and Eddie is actually a very well programmed client. Yes they run their forums like a tinpot dictatorship but most VPNs and their staff are snarky towards users.

BTW AirVPN sales are Easter, Black Friday/Cyber Monday and XMAS/New Year. I always purchase a sub near Black Friday, same with Proton. Grab a 2 or 3 year license!

I'm hesitant to try and give them more money, because I can be banned for no reason again.

In my case i found their speeds slower than other vpns i use/have tried.

Anyway i use wiresock app for my vpns now, it’s a great application
Honestly i feel airvpn is just overrated, it’s good for ‘enthusiasts’ maybe. After having tried them nothing appeals about them for me to try them again. There is so much an app like eddie can do to improve experience, i think there are plenty of
Other factors that define the vpns quality
And yes i tried various measure to fix my speed, they were significantly slower than most other vpns i’d tried

Ha. Eddie was the bright spot for me with AirVPN. Wiresock offers no killswitch.

It's a good VPN, no doubt. I just wish there were more transparent. There are two red flags, though, that may or may not be a problem to some. One, they don't use third-party auditing to verify their no logging policies. And, b, they are based in Italy.

They have always been solid, do you know what goes on behind closed doors @ AirVPN? NO! But every VPN is the same.

Unless your running bots/proxies from China or Nth Korea your not going to avoid tracking, advertising or law enforcement. The world is a smaller place now, origin country matters much less.

How many VPNs have helped and aided law enforcement or intelligence and have just covered it up or never mentioned a word. Probably all of them.

When someone @ the ISP or government level tries to cut the network connection when downloading Eddie client there must be a reason. They have trouble tracking users is my bet!

Of course it does…wdym?

Also airvpn jas always had issues either kill switch for its wireguard for windows unless i get eddie beta version, am i wrong? In fact i asked airvpn support they agreed…
Airvpn also has no apps for ios, so ur left using third party vpn apps…

From AirVPN Website:

'No maximum speed limit, it depends only on the server load (see here).
Minimum allocated granted bandwidth: 4 Mbit/s download + 4 Mbit/s upload'

From my point of view this isn't year 2000 ?
Probably that’s just outdated writing they need to update it
To be honest i found their servers overloaded…and the method they use to pick a less overloaded server didnt work…they had recently upgraded their servers too it seems..
But then again i tried them only for a few weeks so my experience is to be taken with a grain of salt, perhaps may have been more optimizations i needed to do on my end…
But honestly i dont find their servers overloaded knfrastructure to be fast at all
