I bought Filen.io Starter Lifetime for 27€. 100 GB + 50 GB of free storage I already had on the account. Considering I'm not some kind of heavy cloud user, that is more than enough for me.

I secured a life deal on Filejump 2Tb. Though it is not the best, it offers WebDav which I connected to Cyberduck and I do encrypt my files using Cryptomator.

As a backup cloud atorage, Filejump is very good

Please go for Koofr. One of the best providers. I've been using it for years without any jssues.

Koofr has been there for years. Even if I am using File jump too, I do not trust it and it can disappear over the night.

For yes it is for the following reasons:

1- it supports webdav. Thus I can using it with Cryptomator. I do not need to trust their encryption.

2- it allows you to connect your OneDrive and Google Drive.

3- Granular sharing options.

4- Lifetime plans

Before one selects a cloud storage one must ask how frequent do you use it especially if you are subscribing for one.

If you are just using one or twice per week I think it's better to store on a local drive. However, if you use it daily like in work, outdoor and home then go ahead and get one

In this case one should subscribe to the basic plan (50 GB or 100 GB) and move to a higher plan when needed.

OneDrive seems to be "improving". After creating 80GB logs, it was nuking my SSD and CPU. I have only 23GB files and it has written 412GB in 2 hours.

My experiences here in Brazil:

Mega and OneDrive – Downloads and uploads are slow, but the price is good.
pCloud – Transfers are fast and the price is good.
Google Drive – It is expensive and offers little storage space.
