If you can, watch TV on your Television screen rather than on your desktop, laptop, or smart phone. To answer your specific question though, jim's list & suggestions to use Virtualbox, VM, or Sandboxie (I use the latter) & Huracan's paid, on-demand, + youtube & network options, offer more TV than most of us have enough time to watch!

Thanks for the tip, RIPCURL808! This proved to be a very useful site that links to many others. This site claims to do their best to keep their list of linked sites trouble free, & viewers are encouraged to report problems such as malware, though it's claimed they work hard to reduce the risk. After viewing a movie or TV episode, viewers are invited to rate their experience (but only those whom join) on a scoring system based on number of stars (1 to a possible 10) for audio & video quality respectively.
I watched "Game Of Thrones" using Sandboxie (just in case); and now I'll have more options to choose from besides whether to subscribe to HBO (or not) when it's new season comes around, and won't THAT be great!?

Thanks @zeusc4! vodly is among some of the many links to choose from, & where I've been enjoying the latest season of "Game of Thrones" on Chrome (incognito) using lubuntu at http://www.solarmovie.tl/tv/game-of-thrones-2011/ The internet feels free again!

I'm with You, Fantasy (& Ulikedat). SolarMovie.so works well for me on both lubuntu & Windows 8.1, but I'll admit to having a small "itch" of worry that must be residual conditioning in me after all the scary attack alerts MT educates us with!
