Advice Request Best way to learn more about Windows and security software?

Hello,
I would like to learn more about Windows processes etc. so that I will be able to configure e.g. a HIPS software properly or to answer Firewall prompts correctly. Can you recommend any good books, video tutorials etc. for the average Joe?

Hello @micrei , I suggest you simply to browse MT, read guides, threads, news, tutorials (MT is full of them), then start to try and test software in a VM (for example VirtualBox); I am sure you will increase significantly your security experience.
