Something you should keep in mind is that like some other products, like Kaspersky for instance, you should run a full scan after first installation. It will accelerate things.

Passage to 200 when playing, Twitch and editing.
Bitdefender manages correctly and it's a pleasure!

BD is not as bad as another I tried in the past month or so. I won't name names though.

I have never seen my Bitdefender reach this RAM consumption

In my case, between 300 and 350 MB. I have profiles enabled. Arcabit on BD engine used more than 400 MB at idle.

BD does not like Malwarebytes. I had to uninstall Malwarebytes while installing BD. A necessary requirement

First i scolded like hell on BD. But with my new Laptop , everything is now running so smooth. This one is a keeper.
No more weird services errors and the updates come in with lightning speed. So i just leave it there, to protect all our computers and mobile devices.

Do use it on default settings? On mine, I have disabled things like Anti-spam, vulnerability scanner.

I also disable anti-tracker and remove the extension as it's covered by my adblocker. I know L0ckJaw uses anti-tracker, so didn't mention it.

The Anti Tracker is doing a good job., so i let it be.
I keep Anti Spam, because i use Outlook.

• Fixed: Password Manager notification and VPN pop-up were displayed together (Environment Windows 10x86)
• Fixed: Password Manager notification and Safepay pop-up were displayed together for some websites (Environment Windows 11x64)
• Fixed: Pop-up throttling mechanism for Encrypted Web Scan notifications. Before, a pop-up was triggered for every dangerous connection attempt, which can happen continuously. • Fixed: "Back 4 Blood" didn't trigger Game Profile
• Fixed: Isolated cases where a scheduled scan did not start at all or started at the wrong time
