This feature is experimental and is being introduced to the Firefox user base through a progressive rollout. It may not yet be available to all users.
Firefox for iOS includes an optional ad blocker that can help reduce unwanted advertising while you browse. It uses a filter list based on EasyList to block many ads before they load.

Ad blocking is turned off by default, so you can choose whether to enable it.

Firefox for iOS Ad Blocking Exits Testing, but Won't Block Firefox's Own Ads
Mozilla has taken the native ad-blocking feature for Firefox on iOS out of the experimental stage and is now carrying out a gradual rollout. The feature is switched off by default and does block a large number of ads, but it will not block ads that appear on search result pages or on sponsored content displayed on Firefox's home and new tab pages.

Mozilla has incorporated the blocker directly into the browser since Apple requires all iOS browsers to use its WebKit rendering engine instead of their own backend. The company has not set out a timeline for a general release to all iOS users.

Mozilla states that it has no intentions of extending its built-in ad blocking to its desktop or Android browsers.
