It would be great if someone could post how you secure your NOD32 antivirus settings. I am running HIPS in interactive mode. But what about "Device control". It's not ticked default? Thanks guys.

Make sure to understand the features before using. Each individual's system is different, for example, a Webcam rule is not required if you have no webcam hardware.

Device control rules editor | ESET NOD32 Antivirus | ESET Online Help
ESET NOD32 Antivirus provides automatic device (CD/DVD/USB/...) control. This module allows you to block or adjust extended filters/permissions and define a users ability to access and work with a given device. This may be useful if the computer administrator wants to prevent the use of devices containing unsolicited content.

Thanks Roboman. I did look at the the config thread before I asked, but it's different from the antivirus settings. I have looked at an option called "device control" in EAV. It's not ticked default. I can just as well configure it the strongest way.

Thank you Spawn. There is many small things to enable or disable. What I could get out of the device control thing was what I had read me through when I started using EAV.
