Solved can not remove Steam Chrome Malware

I have been trying to remove this malware for some time now with no luck malwarebytes picked up a couple infections but i didn't help the steam pop ups i read in some other threads that factory restoring the router has helped so i have done that as well. any help you can offer would be great thanks

yes please steam is still getting pop ups but chrome has stopped

Scan with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

Please re-run Farbar Recovery Scan Tool to give me a fresh look at your system.

• Right-click on
  
  icon and select
  
  Run as Administrator to start the tool.
  (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
• Make sure that Addition option is checked.
• Press Scan button and wait.
• The tool will produce two logfiles on your desktop: FRST.txt and Addition.txt.

Did you try to reinstall Steam?

i have not reinstalled steam but i restarted my computer since me last post and it seems to have gone away i tried restarting steam a few time and no pop ups not sure what has changed but if they return i'll reinstall steam.

I didn't notice signs of malware or any setting that could affect your steam client.
