I ran AdwCleaner, but as soon as it was finished, it disappeared so no log. I tried to download FRST, but kept getting pop-ups that wouldn't allow me to download it, so no logs. I am ready to shoot my computer. I have been trying to find a solution for 2 weeks and it is only getting worse.

  • Open Zemana AntiMalware again.
  • Click on
    4zu6vb.jpg
icon and double click the latest report.
  • Now click File > Save As and choose your Desktop before pressing Save.
  • The only left thing is to attach saved report in your next message.

Please re-run
51a46ae42d560-malwarebytes_anti_malware.png
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware.
  • Click the History tab.
  • Click Application Logs and double-click the newest Scan Log.
  • At the bottom click Export and choose Text file.
Save the file to your desktop and include its content in your next reply.

Are these all reports from MalwareBytes and Zemana? If you have more, please attach them all.

Can you download FRST now? If not, can you transfer it from other computer somehow?

I was able to download FRST today. The Zemana log was the only one I had. There were some problems downloading it that I finally figured out. Here are the Malwarebytes and FRST logs.

FRST.gif
Fix with Farbar Recovery Scan Tool

This fix was created for this user for use on that particular machine.

Running it on another one may cause damage and render the system unstable.

Download attached fixlist.txt file and save it to the Desktop:

Both files, FRST and fixlist.txt have to be in the same location or the fix will not work!

  • Right-click on
    FRST.gif
    icon and select
    RunAsAdmin.jpg
Run as Administrator to start the tool.
(XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File).
  • Press the Fix button just once and wait.
  • If for some reason the tool needs a restart, please make sure you let the system restart normally. After that let the tool complete its run.
  • When finished FRST will generate a log on the Desktop, called Fixlog.txt.

Please attach it to your reply.

I don't seem to be getting any more pop-up nasties, but hulu and cbs.com no longer work. Is that because all pop-ups and ads are disabled? Do I need to find another way to watch them?

Chrome is working. Netflix is working. It just seems to be the sites that are supposed to run ads. CBS.com says that ads have been disabled and won't let the videos play, and HULU acts like it is going to play the video, but nothing happens.

HULU is now working, but CBS.com still does not. I have my settings set to allow ads on the site, but it says it cannot load a commercial from the sponsor and can't show the video

Was just now able to try another browser. It seems to work fine using edge, so I think we are good.
