No1 mention that you are using insider preview on main desktop?

Cf+ CS you have no benefits of using hips at all

OSA is useless as you have CF

Its bit overkill even with SAP + CF

I would just run CIS + CS settings , to get microsoft security center registered + no overlaps of other antivirus components

should I turn off windows firewall, spy shelter firewall is not registered in the windows security center

You can keep enabled Windows-Firewall, because SpyShelter Firewall using by default a compatible driver for WFP (Windows Filtering Platform). In such a case it's no problem to use two Firewall running together... Note: SpyShelter Firewall isn't like a full software Firewall provided by vendors like for instance ESET or Kaspersky.

thanks @silversurfer for making that clear I thought that might be the case but I wasn't sure , Is there any advantage to having a full software firewall as some security vendors don't have one anyone an example Trend Micro.

One real advantage would be using 1 software only instead of using in real-time protection two security software like in your case: GData Antivirus and Spyshelter, so incompatibilities between two security software are possible compared to all-in-one product with capabilities to setup and control a built-in Firewall. In your case it’s worth to consider: GData Internet Security

How does Symantec endpoint respond to ransomware?
It can be as good as comodo / voodoo with the right settings but by default it’s weak
SEP is an incredibly strong tool made for enterprise mainly no one uses the default settings as they are faulty
But in default it might be able to compare with Norton
think about it as Norton just with a lot of features

And use up to 1 main av and one extra layer
Personally the less the better !

If you’re going with just one product
Then gdata ,sep , comodo ,f secure , kis are my recommendations
